I met a horseman
To whom I went to learn
He knows their language
And I had a concern

My new boy had issues
Though it was going pretty well
I sensed there was more
But I just couldn't tell

So off to Eagle West he goes
On a stormy day he's loaded
With thoughts of being stolen ...
Mr. Galaxie Exploded!

The horseman has my boy
And I'll admit my worry
The horse will be fine
But will he survive the fury?

I find them in the round pen
My boy looks confused
The horseman's unrelenting
He will not be refused

As they find their way
I'm just kinda hangin out
I question what I was doing
Getting rather full of doubt

To draw upon the past
I hear my Grandpa's voice
"Listen first to the horse
and then make your choice

It's simple when you're honest
and they know when you're cheatin
It's the language of respect
That the horse keeps repeatin"

As I start to find my own way
I catch the horseman's glance
For he's shaking his head
As I try to learn the dance

He says there must be a reason
For my choice of Galaxie
Now from the sixty head I saw
I think the horse chose me!

It's time to leave the horseman
Cause winter's on its way
But we've just got it going
And I'm wishing we could stay

There's something really special
About a human and a horse
Thank you Kent for helping
Me and Galaxie find our course
